About the Role
The Group People & Culture Business Partner will be the key partner for Group functions, ensuring that the people experience is nothing short of outstanding. The position involves a variety of responsibilities, from administrative tasks to business partnering, all while helping to drive engagement and productivity within the team. You will assist in enabling people manager capability through ongoing advice, support, coaching, and coordinating professional development initiatives.
While the organisation is in the process of enhancing its systems, you will play a hands-on role in day-to-day operations. This includes everything from end-to-end recruitment, drafting job ads, shortlisting and conducting interviews and reference checks, and managing various HR, ER, and IR matters. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with leaders on performance management, training, safety, and other crucial P&C processes.
- Deliver technical and strategic human resource advice across various areas including workforce planning, performance management, issue resolution, human resource programs, and policy development.
- End-to-end recruitment activities.
- End-to-end Provide end-to-end advice and support change management initiatives.
- Build collaborative stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- Delivery and management of cyclical human resource initiatives.

About you

You possess strong skills in HR, ER, and IR, and are eager to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You’re comfortable switching between Business Partnering and hands-on tasks, and you thrive in a role that offers variety. While this role has a significant administrative component, your focus on detail will ensure everything runs smoothly. Ideally, you will hold a bachelor's degree in HR or its equivalent, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of HR legislation, policies, practices, and strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, alongside a flexible, pragmatic, and inventive approach to problem-solving. Essential is the experience in developing and implementing professional development initiatives, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Our ideal candidate is deeply passionate about effecting meaningful change, adept at cultivating relationships, navigating complexities, and delivering practical solutions. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should possess substantial experience in supporting managers with performance management, improvement plans, and, when necessary, terminations.
