About the role The People and Performance team have recently restructured making way for this exciting opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner to join the team. The business partner model is new to the business and as such will require your ability to coach and mentor leaders, building capability with each interaction. You will work closely with your client Group and deliver generalist HR/IR support to leaders and managers. This is a varied and busy role, where you will • Negotiate outcomes for complex employee relations matters. • Research employee relations trends, legislation and developments to ensure compliance and best application in the context of the business. • Advise managers and team leaders on performance issues and coach to successful conclusions where required. • Coach and mentor leaders and seek out opportunities to build capability. • Provide support and/or lead ad-hoc HR projects
It’s expected that you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or related field and the ability to draw on your experience working in large complex organisations. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to interpret legislation, lead investigations and provide recommendations on how to proceed forward. Exceptional communication and report writing skills, with the confidence and capability to present to internal and external stakeholders is a must. As a HR Generalist you will be able to talk to various change programs you have participated in across all aspects of the employee life cycle. It’s a given that you have a charming personality and able to instil confidence with your stakeholders and build effective working relationships. You will demonstrate your ability to leverage support from stakeholders and your team to deliver results. Why MOVE? This role is a 2-year contract with extensions.
