Utilise your breadth of HR Generalist and ER skills to further support the HR team in escalated matters and business growth

The organisation has significant growth strategy in Asia Pacific and the Americas. This role will be instrumental in supporting the growth within the Australian cohort. You will be based in Head Office; Sydney Inner City Suburbs close to all forms of transport. You will form part of the HR Advisory team and be reporting to the National HR Manager. The role will see you utilise your broad generalist skills to engage with management and HR Business Partners to understand their business requirements and implement processes and policies to align the HR offering with the business imperatives. • Support the achievement of corporate goals through the development and implementation of innovative policies and procedures. • Negotiate outcomes for complex industrial relations issues. • Research employee relations trends, legislation and developments to ensure compliance and best application in the context of the business. • Advise managers and team leaders on performance issues and coach to successful conclusions where required.
You will hold relevant HR qualifications and have gained experience within blue and white collar, industrial environments such as manufacturing, mining or energy. We expect that you will be 5 – 7 years into your HR career with a depth and breadth of exposure as a Generalist. We are looking for diversity of experience in the delivery of change programs, exposure to enterprise bargaining, involvement in restructures and employee and industrial relations. You will be capable of leveraging support from senior stakeholders and have a pragmatic approach to achieve organisational goals. Your agility to pivot when required is essential to your success as is your ability to build relationships with your team and with internal and external stakeholders.
