Article Published 15 May 2025 / By Daniela Gonçalves

We’re thrilled to announce that Lauren Doherty will be leading our next HR, Talent & Safety Round Table, where she’ll be unpacking “The Future of HR Tech – How to Build a Scalable, Smart, and Secure HRIS for 2025 & Beyond.”

As organisations embrace digital transformation, HR technology must evolve to keep pace with the demands of a dynamic workforce. A well-designed HRIS is no longer just a tool for managing employee records—it’s a strategic asset that drives efficiency, compliance, and workforce engagement.

Lauren is not just a seasoned HR professional—she’s a transformational force in the world of people systems, strategy, and innovation. With over 17 years of experience across major industries including Financial Services, Retail, and Manufacturing, Lauren has a unique talent for bridging the gap between business needs and people-first solutions. Her career spans some of Australia’s most recognised brands, including Collins Foods, Cement Australia, Super Retail Group and Suncorp, where she has led everything from HR tech implementations and workforce analytics to cultural change and leadership development.

Currently the Head of HR Shared Services at Collins Foods, Lauren’s experience and influence has touched nearly every aspect of the employee experience—from designing performance frameworks and overhauling talent systems to implementing robust data governance models that have reshaped decision-making across organisations. Whether it’s rolling out a new LMS that drove 100% training compliance in just one quarter or leading the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide HRIS platforms, Lauren knows how to build people systems that scale and stick.

Beyond the technical capability, what sets Lauren apart is her ability to influence at every level—partnering with senior leadership, mentoring high-potential talent, and delivering strategic people outcomes that create genuine value. Her forward-thinking, pragmatic approach to HR transformation makes her the perfect person to lead this conversation on the future of HR tech.
