About the role
This role sits within a dynamic and multiskilled ICT team, seamlessly integrated within the broader finance department. The team is led by a seasoned leader with over 20 years of senior and executive experience, bringing a wealth of expertise in delivering large-scale IT systems, infrastructure, and transformational projects across various industries in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is a pivotal contributor to the production and operations teams, delivering actionable insights through customised reports, dashboards, and metrics. This role works closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the ICT, Finance, Supply chain, Operations, and Production teams, to enhance decision-making and optimise processes.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining dashboards and reports, managing data systems and structures, conducting business analyses, and ensuring data governance. With access to tools like Power BI, Azure, and SQL Server, you’ll have the resources to transform data into strategic insights that propel the business forward.
About you
You are a proactive and detail-oriented BI Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Manufacturing or FMCG sectors. With advanced technical expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, Azure, and the full BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS), you excel at developing dashboards, reports, and data models that deliver actionable insights. Your proven ability to manage data integration processes and maintain accuracy across systems ensures stakeholders receive meaningful solutions to support critical decision-making.
A skilled communicator with a friendly and approachable demeanour, you thrive on collaborating across teams and translating complex business requirements into practical outcomes. Your strong business acumen demonstrated through techniques like SWOT assessments and process mapping, enables you to identify opportunities for strategic improvements. Adaptable and results-driven, you are eager to take on new challenges and lead initiatives that drive innovation and success.
