About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations and Safety the Employment Relations Partner will be a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, providing practical, commercially focused employment relations support.
You will manage a varied portfolio of employee relations matters, including performance management, misconduct, grievances, workplace investigations and complex employee issues. Working closely with operational leaders, you will provide balanced advice that supports sound decision-making while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, industrial obligations and organisational policies.
This role offers the opportunity to influence leadership capability, support organisational change and contribute to initiatives that strengthen workplace culture across a large and diverse workforce. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, coach leaders through challenging people matters and deliver practical solutions that align with both business objectives and employee outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced HR / ER professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to navigate complex workplace matters and deliver practical, commercially sound solutions. You bring strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations, coupled with experience managing performance, conduct, grievance and investigation matters from start to finish.
You have the confidence to influence and coach leaders, helping them make informed decisions while balancing compliance obligations with operational outcomes. Known for your sound judgement, strong communication skills and pragmatic approach, you build credibility quickly and thrive in environments where no two days are the same.
Experience working within award-covered environments such as community services, healthcare, disability, aged care or other complex workforce settings will be highly regarded.
