Join a dedicated HR Project Team for a 6-month contract, delivering practical, fit-for-purpose HR process improvements onsite.
About the Company
Our client is a leading national organisation with a proud history and a future-focused mindset. With operations spanning diverse sites and a workforce that is both complex and dynamic, they are committed to driving excellence through innovation, safety, and people-first values.
About the Role
This newly created opportunity will see you join a dedicated HR Project Team on an initial 6-month fixed term contract, working onsite with the flexibility to adjust your hours, but with no hybrid option. This is a hands-on, project-focused position for an experienced HR professional who thrives on rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
You’ll work closely with HR, operations, and compliance teams to review current practices, document fit-for-purpose processes, and embed these into day-to-day operations. Rather than focusing on high-level transformation strategies, your work will be about practical implementation—mapping “as-is” processes, identifying efficiencies, creating standard operating procedures, and ensuring HR processes are compliant, efficient, and easy to follow. You’ll liaise with teams across corporate and operational environments to ensure processes are realistic, relevant, and sustainable.
About You
You’re an organised and detail-driven HR professional with proven experience in process improvement and project delivery within high-compliance, labour-intensive industries. You have solid HR operational experience across the full employee lifecycle and know what ‘good’ looks like, but you also have the pragmatism to design solutions that are fit for purpose in a busy, operationally driven environment. You understand the complexities of a large, diverse workforce—shift work, seasonal labour, multilingual teams—and know how to design processes that work in the real world. Your toolkit includes process mapping, SOP documentation, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills. You’re comfortable facilitating workshops, collaborating across functions, and turning complex HR requirements into simple, actionable steps.
Why Move?
This role offers the chance to make a direct and lasting impact in a values-driven organisation that celebrates hard work and collaboration. You’ll be part of a passionate HR Project Team where your contribution will help shape processes that support thousands of employees nationwide. With the backing of experienced leaders and the opportunity to work closely with both corporate and operational teams, you’ll have the scope to deliver meaningful improvements while enjoying the support of a committed and knowledgeable team—all within a defined 6-month timeframe where outcomes are tangible and visible.
