Hands-on HR project role focused on systems, process improvement and operational delivery across a fast-paced organisation.
About the Company
Our client is a large, complex and operationally driven organisation currently investing heavily in improving the way their People & Culture function supports the business. With multiple initiatives underway across systems, processes and operational delivery, they are looking for an experienced HR Project Specialist to come in and help drive momentum, capability and execution.
This is an environment where things move quickly, priorities shift and people are expected to lean in and make things happen. It is practical, hands-on and highly collaborative, with a genuine focus on continuous improvement rather than perfection.
About the Role
This is not a role where you sit on the sidelines coordinating meetings and updating project plans.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys rolling their sleeves up, jumping into the detail and getting projects delivered.
Working closely with the People & Culture leadership team, you will take ownership of a range of HR projects focused on improving systems, processes and overall operational effectiveness across the business. Some projects are already in motion, while others need someone to take the lead, create structure and drive them through to completion.
You will be involved in initiatives relating to process improvement, systems implementation, workflow optimisation, policy and process uplift, operational HR improvements and broader people projects across multiple sites.
One of the key pieces of work will involve supporting the rollout and adoption of new tools and processes across operational environments. This means the role is not just about delivery, it is also about stakeholder engagement, communication and helping people adapt to change in a practical and commercially sensible way.
This role requires someone who can operate autonomously, build credibility quickly and confidently manage competing priorities without needing constant direction.
About You
You are someone who gets energy from creating order out of chaos and seeing tangible outcomes from your work.
You are practical, proactive and delivery-focused, with the ability to move comfortably between strategic thinking and execution. You are not afraid of messy environments or imperfect systems and understand that sometimes progress is about improving what exists rather than waiting for everything to be rebuilt.
You may come from a HR project, transformation, HR operations or business partnering background, however what matters most is your ability to deliver.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering HR projects end-to-end within complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to manage change and bring people along the journey
- Experience improving HR processes, systems or operational workflows
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
- Strong contemporary HR knowledge across people processes and practices
Experience working within multi-site, operational or blue and white collar environments will be highly regarded.
Culture Fit
This team values people who are accountable, adaptable and commercially minded. There is no appetite for ego or people who sit back waiting for perfect conditions before taking action.
You will thrive in this environment if you enjoy collaboration, can build rapport quickly and genuinely like being embedded within the business rather than operating from a distance.
The successful person will be someone who can build trust, communicate with credibility and become a genuine support to both leaders and operational teams.
Why Apply?
This is an opportunity to join a business where your work will have genuine visibility and impact. You will be trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas and help drive meaningful improvements across a large and evolving organisation.
For someone who enjoys project-based work but still wants to remain connected to people, operations and the broader business, this role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to deliver outcomes that will be seen and valued across the organisation.
Make your MOVE!
If this role resonates with you and you meet the criteria set out above, please apply through the link and include a Cover Letter and Resume in Word format. For more details and a confidential conversation, please call Daniela Gonçalves or Sharon Conto on 07 3556 1079.
