This organisation has a national footprint and have experienced significant growth of recent times. As a result, they are now looking to appoint a dedicated payroll officer to assist with the payroll function. With the support of a dedicated Finance and Payroll team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll solutions across a national workforce with varied working conditions. On a daily basis you will collaborate with the People and Culture team and be involved with the following but not limited to: • Award interpretation, • Reporting, • Data management (including roster management info), • Superannuation / Taxation payments, • New starters, adjustments, terminations etc. • Pay query resolution, as well as contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
To succeed in this permanent position, you will have at least 12 months payroll experience supporting substantial / complex workgroups, ideally within a team environment. Success in operating within a continuous improvement framework and a desire to build your skill set as the business grows will be well received. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic with a passion for professional growth and demonstrate resilience in what will be a demanding and fast paced environment.
