Reporting to the Safety, People and Culture Manager you will have an integral role as part of a small collaborative, multidisciplinary HR team. You will be the first point of contact providing timely advice to managers and employees across a broad range of generalist HR matters including employment law, performance management, pay, leave and disciplinary matters. You will also administer and support the business through cyclical HR initiatives including engagement surveys, as well as managing the recruitment portfolio including advertising, booking pre-employment medicals, shortlisting, interviewing candidates, reference checking and the preparation of employment contracts. You will interface with Payroll and line managers to ensure smooth onboarding. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective HR policies and procedures and participate and/or lead ad hoc HR projects.
Inclusive of your above duties, ideally you will hold tertiary qualifications in HR or related field with previous experience working in a HR team. You will have strong attention to detail, demonstrate initiative and be innovative and solutions focused. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and driven individuals who are approachable whilst also maintaining a level of professionalism. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels and via various mediums. Why MOVE?
