Partner with leaders to strengthen culture, lift capability and support growth in a high-performing, values-led construction business.
About the Company
We’re partnering with a well-established construction and services organisation known for strong leadership, long-standing relationships and a genuinely embedded culture. This is a business that understands the commercial value of great leadership and invests accordingly.
The organisation operates in a fast-paced, operational environment where performance, accountability and culture go hand in hand. Importantly, this is not a turnaround environment. The culture is already strong and highly valued, with a clear focus on protecting it while continuing to lift leadership capability as the business grows.
About the Role
This Senior Human Resources Business Partner role sits at the centre of the organisation, partnering closely with leaders to support performance, leadership effectiveness and team capability. It is a true business partnering role, requiring strong commercial judgement, credibility and the ability to influence at a senior level.
You’ll work alongside leaders to coach, challenge and support them through growth, change and day-to-day leadership decisions. While you’ll draw on solid HR foundations when required, the role is intentionally focused on capability uplift rather than case management. Success in this role comes from building strong leader relationships, reinforcing accountability and helping teams perform at their best.
You’ll also contribute to broader people initiatives including workforce planning, leadership development and the continuous improvement of people processes, ensuring they are practical, fit-for-purpose and aligned to how the business actually operates.
About You
You’re an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in operational, service-based environments and understands the connection between people decisions and commercial outcomes. You’re confident working with leaders who value pace, clarity and follow-through, and you know how to influence without relying on policy or hierarchy.
You bring a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset, strong relationship-building skills and the ability to coach leaders through complexity. Experience in construction, engineering or similarly project-driven industries will be highly regarded, but mindset, maturity and partnering capability are the real differentiators.
Why Move?
This is an opportunity to join a business where HR is genuinely valued as a partner to leadership, not a back-office function. You’ll work with engaged leaders who care about their teams, are open to challenge and are committed to continuing to lift standards. If you enjoy working in high-performing environments where culture matters and your impact is visible, this role offers meaningful scope and long-term opportunity.
