Hands-on P&C BP role partnering leaders, driving outcomes, and navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment where you can make a real impact.
About our Client
Our client is a large, multi-site organisation operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. With a diverse workforce and evolving priorities, the business is continuing to invest in its people function to better support leaders and drive consistency across its corporate services portfolio.
About the role
This is a true Senior P&C Business Partner role, supporting a corporate stakeholder group in a hands-on, highly visible capacity.
You will work closely with leaders, providing practical, timely HR support while influencing decision making and lifting capability across the business. The role is broad and requires constant pivoting. From employee relations and performance management through to stakeholder coaching and generalist HR support, you’ll be across it all.
This role requires someone who can balance thinking and doing. You’ll be expected to operate at a strategic level when needed, but just as importantly, roll your sleeves up and get into the detail to make things happen. It’s not about building perfect frameworks in isolation, it’s about applying them in a way that works for the business.
The environment is evolving and at times, a little clunky. Not everything is perfectly structured or built out. You’ll need to be comfortable stepping into that, fixing what you can, influencing where it matters, and working with what you’ve got to keep things moving.
There is a strong focus on ownership and follow-through. You’ll be expected to take a brief, run with it, and deliver outcomes without needing to be constantly directed.
This is an on-site role, with regular interaction across the business and some ad hoc local travel required to support stakeholders across different locations.
About you
You’re a confident, credible HR Business Partner who knows how to operate in the business, not just alongside it.
You have experience working within large, matrix organisations supporting multi-site workforces across both blue and white collar environments. You understand the complexity that comes with scale, different stakeholder groups, and competing priorities, and you know how to navigate it.
You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and are comfortable challenging when needed. You don’t hide behind HR language. You keep things practical and focused on outcomes.
You bring solid experience across employee relations, performance management, and a working understanding of awards. You’re comfortable navigating complexity, answering both simple and challenging questions, and guiding leaders through real situations.
You’re someone who can move between big picture thinking and hands-on delivery without losing momentum. You’re comfortable working in environments that aren’t perfect, and you know how to prioritise, simplify, and get things done.
You take ownership. You don’t wait to be told what to do. You identify gaps, step in where needed, and follow things through.
Culture fit
This is a down-to-earth, relationship-driven environment. Leaders value authenticity, practicality, and someone who can engage without being overly polished. You’ll need to be resilient, personable, and able to challenge while maintaining strong working relationships. A sense of humour helps. So does the ability to keep things moving when things aren’t perfect.
Why MOVE?
You’ll be brought in to make a difference, not sit on the sidelines. This is a hands-on business partnering role where you’ll have the space to take ownership, influence leaders, and get things moving. It’s broad, fast-paced, and will keep you close to the action. You’ll also step into a function that’s evolving, giving you the opportunity to help shape, improve, and leave your mark. Strong salary and benefits.
Make your MOVE!
